Error using GCA in RESTplus

Hello! I am attempting to use RESTplus V1.2 for a granger causality analysis on fMRI data, but I keep getting the following error:

Error using rp_WriteNiftiImage (line 95)
Meet error while writing data. 1) Please ensure there is NO space or Chinese character in the file path; Or 2)
Please restart MATLAB, and run "rp_Fix_Read_Write_Error" before starting REST.

I did ensure that there were no spaces in the filepath, and I did try running rp_Fix_Read_Write_Error before starting REST. I'm using Matlab 2017a with SPM12 on a Mac. I have also compiled the SPM MEX files, but I am still getting this error. Any advice on fixing this would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Any updates on this issue? I'm experincing the exact same problem with ML2017 and SPM12.

An identical error message occurred to me while conducting preprocessing. I followed the steps suggested but the problem would persist.

I would be happy to hear if anyone has found an explanation or solution to this problem!
