Hi,
I am quite new in fMRI preprocessing. I am going to perform preprocessing of task based fMRI and extract ROI (AAL template for now). I have set the parameters as in attached image. I am curious to know if it is correct or have some potential worng parameters.? I believe there is no need for nuisance covariate regression?
Thank you.
Atif

Hi Atif,
Hi Atif,
The parameters seem correct. One thing should be noted is that you'd better specify slice timing parameters according to your own data.

And how can we specify the
And how can we specify the design parameters of task fMRI, like Onset and duration of each task ?
Thank you

For the GLM analysis, please
For the GLM analysis, please refer to spm. DPARSF only provides preprocessingn functions.

Thank you for your guidance.
Thank you for your guidance. I have one generic question regarding preprocessing of task fMRI. Should we apply nuisance covariate regression (head motion, CSF and WM signal, global signal) to task fMRI data. As I have studied from DPARSF and other resources it is not applied. Whats the reason for that.
Many Thanks,
Regards,
Atif

Hi Atif,
Hi Atif,
Just because most T-fMRI studies add motion covariates in GLM model. Actually, you can perform nuisance regression first.
